HOW TO ACTIVATE OFFICE 2007 TRIAL VERSION (BY PASSING THE GENUINE ADVANTAGE OF OFFICE 2007 OR OFFICE 2007 CRACKED)

Most suites or programs of Microsoft Office 2007 allows user to evaluate the product. To use this hack to crack activation on Office 2007, you need to install Office 2007 without any serial number or product key. If you have installed Office 2007 with a product key or serial number, do the following to clean remove Office 2007 of product key:

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications.

2. Run Register Editor by clicking on Start -> Run, and then type “regedit” in the Opepress Enter key.

3. Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration
Note that inside the registry key, there should be another subkey that resembles the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{90120000-0030- 0000-0000-0000000FF1CE
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{91120000-0011- 0000-0000-0000000FF1CE

4. If there is more than one registry entries or subkeys that reference Microsoft 12.0 registration, open up each subkey, and then identify the product by the ProductName value data until you locate the subkey for the product which you want to remove the existing product license key.
For example:

ProductName=Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007

ProductName=Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007

5. Once found the correct registry subkey, delete the following values:

DigitalProductID

ProductID

6. Close Registry Editor.

Once Microsoft Office 2007 has been installed with no product key, proceed with the following steps:

1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en\

2. Right click on Proof.XML file, select “Open With…” in the right click menu.

3. In the “Open With” window, select Notepad to be used to open the XML file. In Vista, if you can’t see the Notepad option, simply double click the “Other Programs” to unhide it.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Proof.XML to locate the following lines:

OptionRef Id=”AlwaysInstalled”

5. Change the AlwaysInsalled to neverInstalled so that the line looks like following:

OptionRef Id=”neverInstalled”

6. Save the Proof.xml file. In Windows Vista, you may need to take ownership and grant full access permission to yourself before able to modify the file.

7. You can now launch Microsoft Office 2007 application such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and etc without prompting for activation.

As usual, as it’s a hack, and before you purchase a valid product key for it, you won’t be able to AND can’t access any updates or Microsoft Office Online.

CHANGE USERNAME ON LINUX

User name is utmost important in linux operating system. Unlike Windows XP and Vista series of consumer oriented OS which sometimes allows single user to automatically log on to desktop without prompting for user name and password, Linux doesn’t come with this convenient (KDE apparently can). Each user must type his or her own user name and password before able to login into shell or desktop.If you feel that your user name is not attractive enough, or boring or your taste and experience has changed since the user name was first created, use the following command to change the user name in Linux.

usermod -l new login name old login name

Replace new login name with the new user name you want to use in future, and old login name with the existing username to change.
For NIS accounts, additional commands is required to maintain a proper copy of user account across computer network. Run the following commands:


cd /var/ypmake

To protect the copyrights of the songs, musics and videos stored on iPod and reduce piracy, Apple has make it difficult to copy or transfer the songs, musics, songs, videos and files that stored on iPod to personal computer (PC) or laptop notebook computer, by scrambling the file names of the songs on the iPod and telling the operating system that the files should be invisible to normal users, without any encryption involved in this iPod anti-copying mechanism.itunes allows only one-way synchronization of musics from computer to iPod, so if for whatever reasons such as need to reload your library on local hard disk due to desktop hard disk failure or buying new computer, you can easily copy back the video, music and song library from iPod on a Windows PC by following steps:

1. Insert your iPod to a Windows PC USB or FireWire port. (PC should runs Windows xp or other Windows operating system).

2. If your Windows PC still doesn’t have iTunes installed, skip this step. If iTunes is already installed and prompt a message on whether if you’d like to associate this iPod with this computer and deleting its content, click No. Or else you will lose your only copy of library on iTunes. Beside, ensure that ‘Enable Disk Use’ is selected.

3. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer, the iPod should be automatically detected as a portable hard drive.

4. Click on the iPod icon or the iPod portable hard drive letter to open the contents of the drive.

5. If you don’t see a folder called "ipod control", it’s hidden and invisible. To unhidden it so that it’s visible, go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and then check (enable) the option “Show hidden files and folders.”

6. Open the “iPod Control” folder, and then the Music folder.

7. The Music folder contains the iPod’s music and videos, divided into folders. Copy the library to local computer hard drive’s My Music folder.

8. The files copied have unintelligible four-letter file names. To reveal the names of the songs and other data tags, add the files to the Windows Media Player or iTunes libraries or switch to “Tiles” view in Windows Explorer.

9. Rename the file if necessary.

Beside above manual ways to copy and transfer song library from iPod to computer, or import into iTunes, there are several third party program or more commonly called iPod Manager that has the iPod copying function such as sharepod (freeware) or podplus (shareware).

Similarly, in Macintosh running MacOS X or MacOS 9, it’s harder to show hidden files and folders. So these third party utilities with iPod copying will be useful to transfer files and music from iPod to PC’s hard disk and iTunes library.

For MacOS X, try Broken helix and Rob's ipod exporter. For MacOS 9, try escapod and iprober. Other iPod Manager or iPod song transfer utility for Mac include senuti, ipodrid, ipod,itunes and podworks. For Linux, try GUIPod. Podutil will be able to works on both Windows and Mac platform.

The transferred music will be playable without any restrictions if the songs are ripped from CDs. If the songs or videos are bought from the iTunes music store, they will play in iTunes after you have “authorize” the computer. To authorize, try playing a purchased file. It will prompt you for your iTunes username and password. Up to five computers can be authorized at any one time.
